Vive le Québec

There are many destinations and vacation spots in Canada, particularly for people who enjoy nature and activities such as camping, hiking, fishing, and hunting. A train trip in Canada is a popular way to experience the fresh Canadian landscape. Sometimes the vast tracts of untouched wilderness, the glacier-carved geographic features, and the teeming wildlife cause people to overlook the more civilized aspects of Canada. Although Canadian cities aren’t the oldest or most populous in the world, they do have a unique cultural flavor to them. Many Canada tours include visits to larger cities such as Winnipeg, Vancouver, Toronto, and Montreal. Montreal is the second-largest city in Canada, the largest in Quebec. Quebec is famous for its French culture and the predominance of the French language. In fact, even Quebec’s government and legal system have a distinctly French character. Since France essentially stopped influencing Quebec after England gained control over Canada, Quebec and France have evolved in different directions, and some people consider Quebec to more closely resemble 19th century France than modern France does. Quebec’s civil law system still embodies the spirit of the famous Code Napoléon that helped spread The Enlightenment across Europe. Canada coach tours are a popular and flexible way to experience Quebec’s distinctly New World take on the culture and language of France.
