3 Types of CD Printers

You have decided that you are ready to purchase a CD printer so that you can stop printing on to those stupid peel-and-stick labels and start printing directly on to DVDs. This is definitely a better way to do dvd labeling than most of the other options out there. But you have to know what to look for in a dvd labeler if you are going to get one that really satisfies your needs.
The first thing to know is that there are basically three different types of CD printers. There are inkjet printers which are highly common for dvd printing. There are thermal printers which are more expensive but also offer a more professional and polished look. And then there are label printers which you’ll want to avoid if your purpose is to get away from printing on to labels and to move towards printing directly on dvds.
Most people will choose to go with an inkjet dvd printer. There are even dvd printers that will also serve to print photos so this is something to look at carefully. However, if you do a lot of dvd printing you may want to go with the thermal printer since it’s the one that does the job best.
