Okay, I’m obsessing again!  It’s kind of getting to be what I do best.  Anyway, I don’t have the money to do it right now, but one of my favorite things in general to do is dream up projects: vacations to take, big purchases to buy, to do lists, etc.  Whether I accomplish them or not is irrelevant, it is the simple act of creation.  I think I just completely redesigned the living room.  Some time in the next year, I want to replace all the windows in the downstairs for Andersen renewal windows because it’s pretty drafty.  I also found this absolutely sublime paint at Benjamin Moore that’s like a blood red, but a shade away from creepiness, and this fun, antique-looking cream textured fabric that I love. 

Now, however, I think that when I do the window installation, I’ll maybe blow out part of the back wall to have a huge bay window overlooking the lake.  How beautiful would that be?  Although, if it’s a big lake view, maybe I shouldn’t do blood-red; it would contrast with the airiness of the outdoor view.  I’ll put in a window seat!  I’ve wanted one of those since I was a girl, a window seat in a bay window that I can get totally lost in.
