My husband and I are moving to Kansas City because he got a great job there, and we are really looking forward to the move because we’ve heard that this city has a wonderful clinic that treats infertility. We just learned that I am going to need to be on a course of ovulation drugs for a while, and if that doesn’t work, we have selected the Kansas City IVF clinic for the embryo implantation procedure.  (IVF stands for in vitro fertilization.) We’re moving from a small town in Missouri, where our access to doctors who can help us was not so good. In fact, we’d have to drive 100 miles round trip to get the treatment we need.

We’re really looking forward to get started on the treatment so that in a year or two, we’ll have our own baby. It was great timing and luck to get the job and learn that there is a prominent place in Kansas City for fertility treatment. It’s not that far from where we plan to live, so it’ll be convenient to get the treatments. Kansas City doesn’t have bad freeway traffic, which helps a lot to get from point A to point B for the appointments. I feel so lucky to be able to access such a great clinic.
