Well it is finally that time. I am finally going to walk across the stage this year at my school and I am going to go and shake my professors’ hands and meet the people on the board of education and the school that I know nothing about and have never seen and have had very little to do with my life or my education at least in any kind of way that I have ever seen. It will probably be a big boring day for me that exists more for other people than for me, but nonetheless, this is it. This is the year that I will walk across that stage and receive my university diploma.

I have worked so hard for so many years just trying to get by, trying to deal with the late nights and the poor diet and the living with so little money and still trying to have a life and be able to go out and socialize with my friends, and it has been just this most incredible balancing act of trying to keep it all together. I know that the diploma is more than just a piece of paper, at least it is to me. So I think it deserves a great college diploma frame when I finally get it.
