Going to the Movies
By DigiBi on Jan 19, 2009 in Entertainment
I’m a big movie buff and will do whatever I can to see all the latest and greatest movies before everyone else. So, last Saturday night, while most normal people slept, I was standing in line for the midnight screening of a brand new action flick. There were about 50 other crazy people there, all of us standing in line next to these tensabarrier things to make sure we all stood there without causing a scene. Now, that late at night, there’s not much to look at while you’re hanging out, so I let my imagination run wild out of sheer boredom. Suddenly, in my small world, I was in line to meet the Queen, standing behind the magestic post & rope they put out for super-important people. Me! Getting ready to meet Her Majesty! Tada!
This kept me entertained for about 30 seconds, then it was back to people-watching, which actually was much more fun. I’d say no need for crowd control with this group of characters; all dressed up like their favorite character, panting in anticipation of the new movie. Good grief: is this really how I should be spending my Saturday nights?!
