After getting married, I left college before getting my bachelor’s degree. That was ten years ago. My husband taught me how to use a computer. He works at a computer repair shop.  We have been talking about setting up our own sales and service shop in another part of the city, so it makes sense that I learn more about computer systems myself.

I was a little anxious about attending classes again because it’s been a while since my last school days, but we found an online university with a computer technology program that looked really promising. The best thing was that students didn’t have to attend any classes in person. But I could consult with the instructor about any problems or questions I might have.

Students could take computer courses for certificate or associates programs and online bachelors degrees, which means I can choose how far to go. Right now I’m working in retail sales, so it was nice to know I could go to class in the evening. We need a second income right now.

My classes started last month, and they’re really going well.  I’m learning a lot, and the only thing I had to do at first was download some software, which was really easy.  My husband has been really impressed with the courses, and the instructor has been really helpful.  Who knows?  It can’t hurt to look into online business degrees too.
