Every career that there is has its own unique needs that only people in that career are really truly familiar with. Some of the things might be commonly known by people in other careers but others will be really specific to that one career.

Here are some of the things that teachers might need:

- School supply list. This is something that teachers use to assist them in figuring out what needs to be ordered for the classroom.

- Grading notebook or spreadsheet system. Teachers may do their grading by hand or on a computer but either way they need some sort of system for keeping track of their students’ grades.

- Textbooks related to education and childhood development. Teachers need to continue their own education in order to be able to adequately teach the children who are in their care.

- General teacher supplies. Some of these supplies may be the same as those used by people who work in offices but others will be specific to the needs of the classroom.

These are examples of items that would be common to the school teacher but which may not be common to any other career. Each career has these types of things, some of which are more familiar to us than others.
